Co-Founder / President
Courtney attended the University of Florida where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English, and a master’s degree in secondary education. After graduation, she spent several years with Kissimmee Nissan, where she was the fleet manager, placing tens of thousands of cars per year with commercial clients, mostly rental car agencies.
When Courtney and her father started Courtney Leasing in the spring of 1991, she had just finished a stint in the management-training program at Alamo Rent A Car. The early years of Courtney Leasing were a bit clumsy, working out of the Nissan dealership, where Courtney was the fleet manager, but it was necessary while the business was small. In search for a larger location closer to Orlando International Airport, in 2000 Courtney purchased the current location for Courtney Leasing located at 8126 Benrus Street, Orlando, Florida.
Courtney is also an accomplished author, having published over 20 books, including her historical fantasy series, The Grace Family Chronicles, and her children’s picture book series, Tales of Bark Story Land.
Co-Founder / CEO
Joe is our semi-retired co-founder. Nowadays, you are more likely to find him on the golf course than here at the office, although he will make an appearance now and then.
Joe started in the auto industry as a floor plan inspector in 1971 for GMAC. In the mid-1970s, he began working as the controller of a Chevy dealer in suburban Milwaukee. He went on to lead the remarketing department for Alamo Rent A Car in the early 1980s. By the 1990s, he owned one of the largest Nissan dealerships in the United States. With a large fleet department providing cars to the major rental car agencies, he developed an extensive network for buying and selling large volumes of automobiles. Joe was very active in the early years of Courtney Leasing. Today, however, his daughter and son-in-law steer the ship.
While working on his degree in political science at Tulane University, Joe met his wife Jeannie in New Orleans where she attended Dominican College. Since meeting in New Orleans, they have maintained close ties with multiple family members still living in the Crescent City. They have two children, Courtney and Caroline, and four grandchildren.
Jeff Milford, CPA
Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer
Jeff joined Courtney Leasing in October 2009 after eleven years of service with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where he was the senior tax director for its timeshare division. Prior to Starwood, Jeff worked at the international accounting and consulting firm of KPMG for almost seven years, ultimately rising to senior tax manager. Jeff’s main industry areas of focus while at KPMG were automotive dealerships, citrus, and timeshare. His accounting background made for an easy transition into becoming the CFO in 2011, and he has led the day-to-day operations of the business since then.
He grew up in Fort Myers, Florida, and is married to our namesake, Courtney Milford. They have three children and reside in Windermere, Florida. An avid bowler, Jeff has two perfect games and a high series of 827 (out of a possible perfect 900). It’s kind of a big deal (in bowling at least).
He spends his days at work communicating with external legal counsel, reviewing legal documents and financial statements, negotiating bank financing and OEM contracts, analyzing residual trends and market fluctuations, and ensuring regulatory compliance with over 10 states.
Chris joined Courtney Leasing in July 2000 as the controller and became the general manager in 2011. Today, Chris is involved in financial reporting, vehicle procurement, and many other areas of the business. Chris, along with CFO Jeff Milford, negotiates with the manufacturers to ensure Courtney Leasing can provide your company with the most cost-effective fleet without sacrificing quality or comfort. They spend their time reviewing residual projections to allow Courtney Leasing to provide you with vehicles that depreciate slower than others. After all, depreciation is our enemy in the leasing business.
Prior to joining Courtney Leasing, Chris was an accounting manager in the communications division of Starwood Hotels in Orlando, Florida.
Chris was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a devoted lifelong Cleveland sports fan. He can be found on Sundays watching every Browns game, for reasons no one here understands. Chris is just as devoted to the Ohio State Buckeyes and Florida Gators for his college sports fix!
He now lives in Winter Garden, Florida, with his wife and has two children.

Joining Courtney Leasing in June 2013, Joe quickly became an indispensable part of the team. Joe’s expertise is quickly understanding your fleet needs and how to fill these needs cost effectively. He’s the best at remarketing vehicles.
Joe’s extensive network of relationships to dispose of off-lease vehicles allows us to provide higher residuals. He virtually eliminates the need to dispose of cars through auto auctions. As your primary contact for all lease/purchase orders, he is the one you will mostly work with. If you can’t reach him on the first try, rest assured, he returns every call.
Prior to joining Courtney Leasing, Joe graduated from Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with a degree in business administration and a concentration in professional golf management. He is a member of the PGA of America and is a pro golfer… well a golf pro who has worked at some pretty amazing golf courses. He claims to be close to a scratch golfer.
Joe lives in Ocoee, Florida with his wife and three children.

Toni-Lee began her career in the automobile industry at a mere 20 years of age with the likes of Greater Auction Group (later sold to Manheim) and ABC Auctions. Finding her home here at Courtney Leasing in 1999, she now serves you with over 30 years of experience in the business.
Toni-Lee is your primary contact here for processing items related to the wholesale and retail sale of used vehicles, placing new fleet orders for established and new Courtney Leasing customers, resolving transit issues, A/R & A/P management and plenty of other things.
Toni-Lee is our purveyor of trade shows and certain not to miss one in Vegas! If you have a trade show that you think we should attend, please contact Toni-Lee as she plans those arrangements.
To tap into her creative side, Toni-Lee designs seasonal hand-made greeting cards marketed under the name Toneska Design Inc., which she established in 2006. Sometimes, store bought cards just will not do!
Title and Insurance Manager & Fleet Sales Associate
Julie started with us in 2000 as a part time student, having previously worked in purchasing for Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin) for nine years. When she decided to go back to school, it was an easy decision for us to hire a seasoned professional part time. After completing her undergraduate degree from University of Central Florida, she decided to join the Courtney Leasing team fulltime. GO KNIGHTS!
Julie processes new fleet vehicle title/tag registrations for all of the vehicles in inventory for Courtney Leasing Inc. She also coordinates insurance coverage and tag renewals with our customers and is a major part of the sales team, providing support and assistance. Please contact Julie for new registrations, insurance matters, license plate renewals, and any documentation concerning a unit in your fleet.
Julie is also the most dedicated athlete in the building rarely missing a workout. A well-traveled tennis enthusiast, she is never shy about jumping on a plane to watch the pros play.
